Outreach
We believe that strong partnerships save lives. That’s why we work closely with EMS, fire, law enforcement, and hospitals to enhance emergency response and improve patient outcomes.
EMS Zoom Case Review: Continuing Education Opportunity
Requestors and other healthcare professionals are invited to join us for monthly, one-hour patient outcome events via Zoom, led by Life Flight’s medical director. These interactive sessions include critical insights and review of patient outcomes on recent flight scenes. Participants who complete the event and required forms afterward will be eligible for CEUs through the State of Ohio.
-
Case-Based Learning
We’ll walk through actual Life Flight scene responses, providing a behind-the-scenes look at what happened and why.
-
Collaborative Discussion
Engage with medical professionals and fellow EMS providers in a nonjudgmental, educational environment.
-
Improving Patient Outcomes
Understand how prehospital decisions impact survival and recovery.
Additional Outreach
An integral part of our mission is connecting with first responders and community members to provide education on what Life Flight can do, when to dispatch our services, and what happens when Life Flight is requested. We also work alongside first responders to create realistic mock crash scenarios designed to reduce drinking and driving among teens. These mock crashes can also be conducted in conjunction with education providers, offering a valuable training exercise for students pursuing a variety of healthcare and first responder careers.
-
Landing Zone
Landing zone training to help first responders understand what is required for safe, efficient helicopter landing zones.
-
Base Site Tours
